CVS Deals of the Week

Here's what I picked up at CVS today:

$8.99: Maybelline mineral power liquid foundation, get $8.99 ECB (limit 1)
Use $3.00 Maybelline coupon from newspaper insert = money maker

$8.99: Complete multi-purpose solution 12 oz., get $8.99 ECB (limit 1)
Use $2.00 printable coupon here or $1.00 off coupon from newspaper insert = money maker

$7.99: Right Guard professional strength, get $7.00 ECB ( limit 5) = $.99

$4.50: 2 Sunday Papers

-$4 off $20 coupon from the end of an old CVS receipt
-$5 ECB from last week's Glade deal
-$15 ECB from last week's Duracell deal
=$1.47 spent out of pocket

The problem was that the Right Guard $7.00 ECB didn't print out, so I had her void that off the transaction, and she gave me a card with my ECB's that I had cashed in to get it. Another employee said it hadn't been working all day and I should try again tomorrow.

So I actually made $4.50 on this transaction. Here's how:

$8.99: Complete solution, get $8.99 ECB minus $2.00 coupon =
-$2.00

$4.50: 2 Sunday Papers
+$4.00

-$4 off $20 coupon

= an overall money maker of $4.50 :)
